Prime my group project for 2D graphics programming taken during winter quarter @ RIT. Our game design was based around old-school shoot'em ups like Bangai-O(Dreamcast) and Contra(NES) and most recently Ikaruga(Dreamcast, most Prominently on Gamecube). Armed with an array of futuristic weaponary our hero(nameless) sets out against a swarm of robotic invaders. The action is fast and frenetic, but that's the way it should be. Although contributing to many sleepless nights later in the quarter, programming the game was a ton of fun! While I was involved in most aspects of programming in some shape or form, my main contributions are in Character animation, Enemy Behavior, Enemy Management, and Scrolling.
